Coloring the Dr. Korvus #2 Cover

The four issue comic series Dr. Korvus written by Eric Stanway and artist Jeff Bonivert. I have been working on the production and am coloring the covers. I wanted to share some of the process of creating the covers for the series.

The background is added.

I create color flats to set the tone.

Added highlights and color fades over the flats.

The final cover with trade dress.

Dr. Korvus #1 is due in March and issue 2 will be available in May. Check the store to pre-order the series.
