Product Overview

Each NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD™ Graphic Novel reprints the entirety of the original FantaCo comic book series from 1991 by Tom Skulan, Eric Stanway, Carlos Kastro, and Eric Meheu. This stunning anniversary edition features a new cover by Eisner winning artist of SWAMP THING™ and TABOO® infamy, Stephen Bissette. For the first time ever, this graphic novel includes the hard to find Prelude and Aftermath bookend comics, making it a truly complete volume. This edition was painstakingly restored from the original books by Brandon Viruet and is printed on heavy, 100# paper with 100# stock covers. As such, it weighs a whopping 2.8 lbs and could well be used as a survival tool against undead ghouls. The edition in this set comes signed by one of the following five members of the cast of the 1968 film: Judy Ridley, Judith O’Dea, Russ Streiner, Gary Streiner, or John Russo. Each book is hand-numbered and matched up with it’s corresponding numbered 50th Anniversary Celebration Coin.
The coins are massive 3” diameter medallions, decorated with an antiqued silver finish. They feature a sculpted bas relief of Bill Hinzman’s Cemetery Ghoul on the face, accompanied by the classic 1968 logo. The obverse features the 50th Anniversary logo sunken into the headstone-like texture as well as the aforementioned number. Each coin is individually serial numbered and only 100 coins exist for the entire world.  These will be housed in a premium acrylic case for display and protection.
The three stills were hand selected by Jim Cirronella, keeper of the Image Ten archives. Stills like these are rarely released, especially as 8”x 10” glossy photos. They feature a couple of candid moments with the main cast members and a scene of staggering ghouls. All three are emblazoned with the NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD™ 50th Anniversary Logo.

A very limited quantity of these are available for purchase and once they are gone, they are GONE forever.
